We have been having Jay work with us and our two female golden retrievers now for about three months or so. One is four and the other one 11. They are both very sweet dogs, as goldens are. However, the young one has some behavioral quirk which causes her to attack the older dog at certain times (typically resulting in a bloody ear and hurt feeling – that would be us!) – usually when there is something they are both interested in. Jay has opened our eyes to identify those situations and the warning signs that lead to a vicious confrontation. He has also been working with us to “desensitize” the younger one and to control her impulses. We have had much success and are amazed by Jay’s ability to understand and work with dogs. We would highly recommend him to anyone with a dog issue.
