Focus Factor

Your dogs Focus Factor is his key to success. In dog training there is one prerequisite behavior your dog must know: focus. Lack of focus on the handler/owner is an issue that I see far too often with clients and dog owners in general. Without your dogs focus and attention you are basically without the ability to teach anything else. Solid focus simply put is the foundation for training all other behaviors; it is what produces learning and retention while at the same time making the development of unwanted behaviors unlikely.
